VACD Study Program Organizes Open Day for Prospective Students

On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, study program of Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) organized an open day for its prospective students and their parents, who showed interest in becoming a part of the VACD family.

VACD Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor Emir Hambo, presented general information about the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and the VACD program, where he introduced the guests to the program curricula, various fields of arts and visual communication, education system, obligations of the students, as well as their future possibilities after they graduate.

After the presentation, the guests had an opportunity to ask additional questions, before going on a Campus tour, where they got familiar with the IUS Gallery, Student Affairs Office (SAO), Student Career Center (SCC), International Relations Office (IRO), TV and Multimedia studios, Drawing studio, IUS Canteen, and Design studio. During the visit to the Drawing studio, they were able to see a real lecture and the work process of the VACD freshmen students during the Language of Drawing II course.
