New trends in "Psychology" program

In order to improve the quality of education of psychology program students at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and harmonize its process in accordance with the European and international standards and guidelines of higher education, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) recently purchased a battery of psychological tests in English language. These tests are directly purchased from Pearson licensed publisher. The investment worth more than 15,000 KM represents a major step towards a better and more successful implementation of the curriculum of Psychology program. This inventiveness reflects global trends in psychology. 

Psychology students will have an opportunity to learn how to use psychological tests in clinical practice and in research in psychology as well. Among other, psychological tests like WISC-IV, MAPI, WAIS-IV, MMPI, BETA III and BENTON, BDI, Ravens CPM Kit, DRAW A PERSON, will be available to psychology students within their regular relevant courses. At the same time, master students studying clinical psychology and PhD students will particularly benefit from these tests. This initiative presents just another effort by psychology program, together with planned opening of students Psychological counseling centre to emphasize improvement of study quality at IUS.
