Guest Lecture with Feđa Fetahagić: TV Presenting

On Monday, December 22, 2025, the Media and Communications (MAC) study program at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized a guest lecture within the ELIT210 Rhetoric course. The guest lecturer was Feđa Fetahagić, an experienced TV host, producer, and writer.

With more than 20 years of experience in broadcast television, Mr. Fetahagić is widely recognized for creating and hosting entertainment and lifestyle programs, including celebrity interviews and trend-focused content. During the lecture, he offered students an authentic behind-the-scenes perspective on contemporary media practice and effective communication in high-pressure environments.

Mr. Fetahagić explored the dynamics of live television and media production, focusing on real-time storytelling, audience engagement, improvisation, and the professional responsibilities that accompany work in live broadcast settings.

The session provided students with valuable insights into the fundamentals of television presenting. Through practical examples drawn from his professional experience, the guest lecturer addressed key elements of TV presenting, including the skills required for both live broadcasts and pre-recorded shows.

Special emphasis was placed on practical guidance for aspiring TV presenters, covering on-camera presence, communication techniques, and professional conduct in media environments. The lecture also highlighted the importance of professional training and continuous skill development in building a successful career in the television and media industry.

The interactive nature of the lecture allowed students to gain a realistic understanding of the demands and opportunities of television presenting, enriching their academic learning with valuable real-world professional insights.
